By Jeferonix I chose this random picture from Flikr because I like cats and technology. I can see me using this as a screen saver in my classroom to show my personality when it comes to animals and technology.
This picture is adorable! I like how you talked about using it as a screensaver in your classroom. I always like it when I get to learn what my teachers are like outside of school about my teachers - it somehow makes them seem more human.
I agree Alice!! I always wished my teachers would choose to share more about their lives outside the classroom. Even now if I ever find the facebook of an old instructor I was really fond of I'm always so quick to stalk their life; interests, favorite movies, gamer non-gamer, married, kids (hoping I'm not the only one who does this.. haha)

This is a really great way to show your personality and personal interests to your class. That is definitely something that is important to do because it helps the students see you as more of a real person, rather than just an all-knowing being who instructs them. They may begin to see you as a friend or helper rather than someone who is "in-charge" of them!
